I provide psychological evaluations for individuals navigating the immigration process. This work is deeply personal to me. As the daughter of immigrants, I grew up witnessing the strength it takes to rebuild a life in unfamiliar surroundings. My parents’ story shaped my values, and after my mother passed away last year, I felt a renewed calling to this work. Creating space for others to have their stories acknowledged with care and respect is one way I carry her legacy forward.
I specialize in clinical evaluations for immigration cases including, but not limited to: hardship waivers, asylum, VAWA petitions, U-visas, and cancellation of removal. These reports are more than just forms or checklists. They are thoughtful, in-depth assessments that speak to the psychological realities individuals face. Each one is carefully written to reflect the unique circumstances, symptoms, and mental health needs of the person being evaluated.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and a deep respect for the complexity of each person's experience. I aim to offer a space where people feel heard, not judged and to produce reports that are detailed, credible, accurate, and clinically sound.
Cost for each evaluation is $1200. This includes 2 meetings and a 10-12 page report. Currently, we have a sale until 10/1/2025 for $200 off.
We allow for payment plans and credit card payments (with 3% cc processing fee added on). Payment is required in 2 payments, one before our first meeting and one before I write the report. Reports will not be written until the 2nd payment is recieved. If paying in full, you will receive a 5% discount.
Detailed, high-quality reports: I write comprehensive 10–12 page evaluations that reflect each individual’s psychological history, symptoms, and lived experiences with clarity and depth. These are not templated or surface-level reports. They are tailored, clinically sound, and structured to meet legal standards.
Specialized training in trauma: I bring a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, shaped by years of specialized training and hands-on experience. I have developed curriculum on racial trauma for use in Dane County’s CCS (Comprehensive Community Services) program, and hold advanced training in both trauma and racialized stress. I understand how displacement, family separation, violence, and systemic barriers can impact emotional and psychological well-being. My background also includes training in domestic violence, and I have organized and led conferences on healthy relationships and Collective Liberation for the organization End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin. These experiences deeply inform my approach, helping me foster a space that feels safe, grounded, and respectful—where clients can speak freely and feel at ease. Each evaluation is approached with care, clinical integrity, and a commitment to understanding each person’s story with thoughtfulness and depth.
Respectful and nonjudgmental space: I know that talking about painful or complicated parts of life can be difficult. My job is to listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and create a setting where people can speak openly. I use my clinical experience with trauma survivors to create a space that allows for transparency and open dialogue.
Cultural insight: Growing up in an immigrant family gave me an understanding of cultural expectations, language barriers, and the silent pressures many people carry. That insight allows me to approach evaluations with nuance and humility.
Reliable communication and follow-through: I take this work seriously and understand how important it is to meet deadlines and stay responsive. I respond to all emails on business hours within 24 hours of receipt (often times, sooner!) You can expect clear communication, professional coordination with legal teams, and timely delivery of reports.
Our evaluation process typically includes two meetings, each lasting between 60 to 90 minutes. Before we meet, I will send you a list of materials to gather. This may include medical records, police reports, affidavits, declarations, or any other documentation that can help provide a fuller picture of your experiences. These materials are not required, but they can offer valuable context for your evaluation. In cases of hardship waivers, the person who is interviewed is the US citizen.
You will also receive a pre-intake form to complete in advance. This allows me to better understand your background and tailor our interviews to your specific situation. Having this information beforehand helps make our time together more focused and structured.
If you require an interpreter, we work with a professional interpretation service that offers support in a wide range of languages. Please let us know in advance if this is needed. There is an additional fee for interpreter services, and you can expect sessions with an interpreter to run about 30 minutes longer. For confidentiality and accuracy, we strongly discourage using friends or family members to interpret.
All sessions are held virtually, so it's important that you find a private and quiet space for our meetings. We will be discussing deeply personal experiences, and your safety and confidentiality are essential. If possible, please arrange for childcare during our sessions so that we can be fully present and focused.
During the interviews, I ask that you be as open and honest as you feel able. Between our first and second meetings, I may ask you to complete some self-report assessments to help us understand your current mental and emotional functioning. Your honest responses help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the evaluation.
